Based on Isaiah 53:7 of the Tanahk, this foreboding, medium-scale acrylic on canvas, titled 'Sheep Led to the Slaughter,' depicts a sheep (Yashar'el) sitting at a table surounded by wolves (The heathen), as they're about to be consumed as the entrée for their dinner. It has a dark red background that gives off a sense of unease of what's to come, in contrast to the painting within the painting of a peaceful scene featuring sheep jumping over a fence. I use a composition and perspective that focuses on the sheep to convey a sense of danger and inevitability to the viewer.
